Lyrics
Show me a smile on your silly face
‘cause I'm getting tired of this human race
My darling...

The eyes of a child as I went away
And how many heroes have we killed today?
I can fly higher than an aeroplane
And I have the voice of a thousand hurricanes
My darling...

Men of destruction reap iniquity
While heroes of courage die with dignity
And how many weapons did I help create?
And how many lives will it devastate?
My darling...

I think of all the days in my life
Where I could have done something more
‘cause I remember the days in my life
Where I could have done something more
There is never a day that goes by
That's a good day to die
Please open your eyes
To the millions of lives
That will senselessly die in our wars

I think of all the days in my life
Where I could have done something more
Yea, I remember the days in my life
Where I should have done something more
There was never a day that goes by
That's a good day to die
Please open your eyes, Oh
There was never a day that went by
That's a good day to die
Won't you please close your eyes?
For the millions of lives...
Who have senselessly died in a war.

Holy crap, that was awesome! I love how you focused on the ensemble and how the song draws upon the whole thing with trying to prevent that dystopic future. Amazing job, thank you so much!

PS: Warren-->Archangel gave me shivers.

Thanks, I'm so glad you liked your gift! :D The endgame episodes were my favorite so I knew early that I wanted to focus on them. And hee that Warren sequence is one of my favorite parts, it's great to hear you liked it so much too! Thanks again!!

This video is really well done! The song choice, the editing, everything flowed so nicely. I've only seen some of this series and liked what I saw, but now I'm definitely interested in seeing more of it. Awesomeness!!!

Thank you for the detailed feedback! The series has its issues IMO but the endgame is pretty awesome and worth checking out. Thanks again!

Oh, this is just fantastic. You've done such a brilliant job of drawing together the entire ensemble to tell a story that doesn't feel cluttered, and teased so much motion out of a source that's always felt more static to me.

Bravo!

Thanks so much Cherry! Heh, there are a lot of speed changes here to make things flow the way I needed them to. ;) And you guessed me right, congrats!

That was freaking awesome. The layers of musicality are so intricate that this can only be made by one person I know! I also loved how clear the emotional progression came through even though I knew nothing of source.

Guess I failed at being sneaky on this one. What am I supposed to do when faced with such epic guitar riffs and vocals though? ;) It's also great to hear the basic emotion came through to a fandom outsider. Thank you! :D

So much fun to watch, especially as someone who grew up reading the X-Men comics. The musicality is just off the charts! I also love how you didn't rely on jump cuts.

I did aim this at "X-Men fans" rather than fans of this show specifically. :D Thanks so much for the feedback!

Wow - I don't know the source but that was incredibly powerful. I have no idea if the source is this dark but you made it look wonderfully disturbing and intriguing.

That's a very flattering response, thank you! The show can get pretty dark but also meanders a bit so I think it's a bit easier to bring out in vid form. :)

Really awesome storytelling here. Loved that you kept the cuts sane, because cartoons are a tempting medium for quarter-second scenes. Yeah, I'm an old lady, but I still have taste enough to love what you've done here!

haha thanks so much! Yeah it can be tempting to cut really fast to deal with how static animation can get, but I got my start vidding Justice League so I learned how to handle that early. :) Thanks again!
